Oral History Project of the International Institute

In 2006, the International Institute of St. Louis initiated the Oral History Project (OHP) by Ann Rynearson, PhD. The oral histories reflect experiences and insight of the refugee experience and the challenges encountered while acclimating to a new life in the United States.

Interns conducted the interviews over the past 10 years.

The audio recordings and transcripts are stored at the International Institute.
