		<description>I think that's great. It adds tho the idea of the periphery and center theory. Although these immigrants are now in mainstream America which itself is a culmination of ideals, customs, and traditions all put together to form this melting pot called America, they are still able to be faithful to their own customs and traditions from their native culture. It's more like a salad bowl theory where although many different ingredients are included in the bowl to make up the salad, each ingredient itself is unique and tastes different all by itself.  I find these analogies are very helpful when trying to get this point across.</description>
