Food and Gift Booths 
Year after year, Festival of Nations booth vendors offer thousands of visitors tasty treats and handmade traditional gifts representing more than 50 ethnicities. The festival is an opportunity for people of all cultures to work in harmony, leaving behind past or present conflicts in other parts of the world.

Who may participate:
  • Ethnic organizations/business;
  • Vendor and majority of booth participants must be of the ethnicity they are representing;
  • Merchandise/food withing booth must all represent that ethnic culture;
  • No priority is given to previous booth participants, it is on a first-come basis; and
  • Must be in good standing with the International Institue.

Information Booths
Information booth space is available to organizations interested in promoting their services, special events or other activities.

The following guidelines apply for info booths:
  • Eligible groups include 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations (social services agencies, civic groups, etc.), neighborhood organizations, religious institutions and others who promote services to New Americans like ESL classes, and/or neighborhood activities, group activities and special events.
  • Government Agencies (City, State and Federal)
  • Only program-related materials, special events fliers and the like can be distributed.
  • Organizations are prohibited from distributing religious items such as Bibles, Qu'rans, or other literature.
  • No priority is given to previous booth participants; it is on a first-come basis.
  • Must be in good standing with the International Institute.
  • Sale of any items at information booths is strictly prohibited.
  • No proselytizing, campaigning or petitions will be permitted on the Festival of Nations grounds.

Culture Corner Booths
Culture Corner is a new area to the festival for ethnic organizations or individuals to display and share their cultural traditions with St. Louis. A contract needs to be completed in order to reserve a space. If needed you can also rent tables and/or chairs.

Booth Pricing
Festival of Nations offers a convenient add-on pricing scale with a minimum cost for booth space. Tables, chairs and electricity cost extra.

Qualifications to receive the Ethnic Organization pricing:
Must have one of the following and return a copy of the form along with the contract and a 50% deposit:

  • 501(c)3 IRS determination letter
  • Tax exempt letter

OR

Must have two of the following qualifications. Return the items along with the contract and a 50% deposit.

  • Be listed in Culture Links, a directory of ethnic and international resources
  • Have an organizational newsletter or website
  • Supply a list of board members with addresses and phone numbers
  • Supply a copy of minutes from your last organizational meeting.

All food, gift and information booth contracts are awarded at the sole discretion of the
International Institute, which reserves the right to reject any group without explanation.

Exceptions are at the sole discretion of the Festival of Nations Committee.
