The Young Friends promote the value of the Institute's mission and services that build communication bridges between all St. Louisans of diverse cultures. They also recruit other Friends and volunteers by telling the story of the important work of the Institute. Junior BoardThe International Institute of St. Louis’ Junior Board promotes St. Louis’ growing cultural diversity through social networking, educational, and community service activities. Junior Board members provide volunteer and financial support to programs that help refugees and immigrants adjust to St. Louis. Board members hail from a variety of backgrounds, including former peace corps volunteers, marketing executives, teachers, graduate students and many others. Junior Board MissionThrough professional and social networks, Junior Board members provide leadership and fundraising support, while raising awareness of the IISTL’s programs and services. |
