Current Needs

Festival of Nations – a variety of shifts are available during the August 26 & 27 event in Tower Grove Park.

Public Speakers – Learn the facts about refugees and immigration and share with the broader community.

Advocates

Mentors – Attorneys, engineers, accountants, human resources, marketers, and other professionals needed to serve as mentors for immigrant entrepreneurs or newcomer professionals with university degrees.

Additional Welcoming Opportunities

Join the International Institute Young Friends Association and participate in Junior Board organized events.

Patronize a refugee-owned local business.

Write welcoming notes for newcomer refugees at the International Institute or the Nahed Chapman New American Academy of the St. Louis Public Schools.

Organize a project of your choosing at your school, church, or workplace.

Reach out to other local immigrant service providers in case they have volunteer needs.
