Another Kind of Giving

Refugees arrive to St. Louis with very few personal items. Most can bring a suitcase or two to fit all their possessions.

In recent months, over 400 individuals have been resettled in our community. These refugees were resettled with the approval of the federal government and federal funding was allocated to meet the needs of this vulnerable population.

Currently, all federal funding is under review and some is frozen indefinitely. You can help us effectively serve our most vulnerable neighbors by providing in-kind donations.

Making sure individuals have basic household items is essential to helping them resettle. New arrivals need a variety of essential items, an our top most needed items right now are:

• Feminine Hygiene Products
• Diapers
• Laundry Detergent
• Toiletries
• Towels (bath, hand, dish)
• Household Cleaning Supplies
• Metro Passes
• Gift Cards (Aldi, Schnuck’s, Target)

* We unfortunately cannot accept clothing or large furniture donations at this time.

The St. Louis community has a history of welcoming new neighbors by donating items to fill their new homes and provide them with support as they resettle in our community. The world is seeing the largest number of refugees in history, and St. Louis is continuing to welcome record numbers of new arrivals every month. Your support ensures that our newest neighbors have necessities as they adjust to life in a new country and community.
